Karl Dustman is a percussionist with special recognition for his skills on timpani, snare drum and drumset. He performs with the Northcoast Brass Ensemble and Summit Choral Society. His vast array of equipment provides the foundation for many percussion section operations in Northeast Ohio.

Dustman has been a featured guest timpanist with the Hour of Power Orchestra, the internationally televised broadcast-services with Reverend Robert H. Schuller at the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California. He has performed on vibraphone, drums and percussion with the house ensemble at Cleveland’s CLASSICS Restaurant, and was invited for a special performance with the Vienna Residence Orchestra in Austria.

A native of the Chicago and graduate of DePaul University, Dustman studied orchestral percussion with recording, television and radio legend Bob Tilles, which prepared him for theatricval repertoire by playing timpani and percussion in various orchestra pits.

He is a recognized executive with over forty-five years of career achievements in the music products industry. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Percussive Arts Society, is a Founding Board Member for the National Music Education Coalition and a guest speaker for the College Music Society. Dustman also is the Executive Director of the Percussion Marketing Council.

In addition to his percussion performance, he is the founder of Dustman & Associates, a twenty-two year Marketing Communications firm and Professional Percussion Products, an eleven year by-appointment orchestral percussion showroom in Cleveland.
